MSIT – tourist service manual and training!

The Tourist Service Manual is a guidebook that was created in order to develop common tourist service procedures. High quality of tourist services in the TI units is to become a model for servicing tourist traffic throughout Małopolska.

As part of the implementation of the Tourist Service Manual, a series of training sessions was conducted. They were attended by Tourist Information employees. During the sessions, the information officers gained knowledge about, among other things, direct contact with tourist and providing tourist services with the use of the IT system. Apart from attending content-based sessions, TI point employees also took part in training trips in order to become more familiar with the region’s historic monuments and tourist attractions.

MSIT – certification!

The certification process involves, among other things, the evaluation of the range of services available at the Tourist Information Point and of the quality of tourist service. The aim is for all the TI units throughout the region to work to equally high tourist service standards. Owing to the system of certification, the tourists and the residents of the region will be able to travel around Małopolska while receiving the highest quality of Tourist Information services.

MSIT – discover Małopolska!

Discover Małopolska, the slogan promoting the Małopolska Tourist Information System (MSIT) is an invitation to visit our region. The MSIT is the key that will allow you to discover the most beautiful parts of Małopolska. The work prepared for the MSIT promotional campaign is a state-of-the-art form of communication, symbolising the cultural and natural heritage of the region. The campaign includes PR activities, both offline and online, using traditional media (newspapers, radio, TV) and the Internet (information, industry, and community portals), study visits for journalists and the tourist industry. The campaign is supported by outdoor advertising (billboards, citylights, posters), which covers the Małopolska Voivodeship.
