The Bacówka Restaurant in Jaworki is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Poland, at the meeting point of two mountain ranges – the Radziejowa Range and the Małe Pieniny Range. The location results in a unique microclimate conducive to good health and an extraordinary wealth of landscape formations.
The inn was built in 1973 for Kazimierz Kutz's film 'Out of Nowhere to Nowhere' and later adapted as a catering facility. In 2002, the building was thoroughly rebuilt according to a design by the Zakopane artist and architect Jasiek Karpiel-Bułecka in the traditional highland style. The name refers to the building in which the shepherd and his shepherds reside while the sheep graze. The chef's regional highland cuisine is inspired by Old Polish, regional Slovak and Hungarian cuisine. The chef invites you to try his specialities: highlander sour rye soup, shepherd's pie, sauerkraut soup, shepherd's pie and herba po zbójecku. The inn has a seating capacity of 100 in two separate halls. It serves individual clients and organised groups. For tourist groups, it offers events with additional attractions: a mountain band performance, horse-drawn carriage rides and, in winter, a sleigh ride with sausage roasting on a campfire.
